Creating A Pastel Plant Aesthetic With Light Colored Foliage

Plants calm the area with soft green colours. Many designers use this phenomenon by creating beautiful landscapes using just the colour green. Moreover, there is no need for green to be a single hue. Different green hues contrast wonderfully. Light-coloured foliage plants, such as the wide heuchera varieties or a pink bromeliad, lend attractiveness and a peaceful atmosphere to their surroundings.

Pastel Plants with Pretty, Pale Foliage

Design your garden with calming greens and delicate pastels if you want a peaceful atmosphere. For a shady location, you can go right with a hosta in blue and green tones. Try the Hosta varieties “Siebold,” “Elegans,” “Francis Williams,” “Krossa Regal,” and “Helen Doriot” to expand the blue plants. Add bunches of Japanese-painted fern at the front of the border for a calm, monochromatic colour scheme. Try pairing Japanese-painted fern with Siren’s Song Orange Delight Heuchera for a pastel and relaxing appearance.

Choose dappled willow and other light-coloured shrubs in a somewhat sunny location together with evergreens like “Green Gem” boxwood or “Elf” mountain laurel.
